Cars used to haul automobiles have 2 doors on each side (see 3rd picture from top on left)

Most box cars in use after World War 1 were 40 feet long with one door, (see 2nd picture from top on right) but today they come in various sizes up to 85 feet in length (see bottom picture on left)

Most trains will have a wide variety of sizes at any given time
